The capsule
internment site is complete. The presence of rocks and boulders
made it impossible to dig out a 5 foot deep hole to receive the
capsule. A contractor was employed to
excavate the hole using heavy front loader. The same
contractor will be used to cover the capsule with fill material,
small boulders and place heavy boulders on top of the rock berm
on July 5, 2008. The depth of burial plus the mound are
designed to keep the temperature of the capsule's interior at a
temperature well below the temperature at ground level.

Please note that a
Letter of Agreement is on file with the Archival
Department of the
North Texas University at Denton, Texas. This institution has
offered to be the
caretaker of the capsule's content when it is recovered.
Recovery is scheduled at the end of the current century
(December 31, 2099)
